about

G.T. Moore might not be a household name but he's recorded with many... Lee Perry at Black Arc, Sly & Robbie at Channel One, and Zap Pow at Harry J’s. He recorded with Johnny Nash (most notably playing guitar on Nash’s Tears on My Pillow) and with X-Ray Spex’s Poly Styrene. He's had his songs covered by Joan Baez, Georgie Fame and Brazilian percussionist Airto Moreira!

This double A sided 7” is taken from his 1975 album Reggae Blue album which he recorded for Charisma Records. I love the distinctive 70s production sound of the era coupled with the authenticity of the guitar and organ sounds. The vital ‘People (Who Kill People) is sadly just as apt today as it was in 1975, while ‘I Wouldn’t Mind’ is simply a beautiful song. I’m honoured to be able to reintroduce these songs to you.

Onlt 100 coloured vinyl and 200 black vinyl 7” copies available.
