Out of our love of Desmond Dekker and his classic 007 (Shanty Town) song, when numbering our Happy People releases we numbered (& kept back) all the no.7s - "007"! It always made me smile! For the first time these are on sale. Naturally there's only one no. 007 for each coloured vinyl and black vinyl copies.

The 22nd release in the Happy People Records ltd. edition 7" series comes from... the Flying Vipers from Boston, Mass with two brand new, world-beating heavyweight dubs!

You can't argue with Flea Market Funk when they cited Flying Vipers 2020 debut album - 'Cuttings' as "one of the top reggae records of the year". Recorded and mixed entirely on an antiquated 4-track cassette recorder, it possesses the same rawness, authenticity and grit that dub first used to seduce the world in the 1970's.

Two cuts from said album have now been given extra heavy treatment by Dub Fader (10 Ft. Ganja Plant); one a soaring tribute to Bunny Lee, 'The Gorgon Strikes Back', and the flip-side, the ethio-jazz nodding 'Fermented Herbs'.

Only 300 numbered heavyweight 7"s are being pressed (100 coloured vinyl & 200 black vinyl). Under 200 are available in the UK and only 40 in USA.
